Starkist Tuna Creations

Image Starkist Tuna Creations
I love Tuna. It's packed full of healthy omega-3's, it's low in fat, high in protein and keeps you filling full longer. But if you too love tune, you probably hate it for the same reason most women (including myself) do. That reason is the fact that it is messy. You have to drain it and there is virtually no way to drain it without getting tuna juice on your hands. It may not be a lot, but it only takes a drop. Go ahead, wash your hands; once , twice, even three times but you are left smelling like tuna and having the animals following you around the house.

Starkist has created a new product called Tuna Creations. Tuna Creations is a individual sized pouch of tuna fish that requires no draining. It tastes even fresher then canned tuna and requires no refrigeration. I tried the Herb and Garlic. It was very tasty but I prefer to season my tuna myself. I prefer a spicy cajun seasoning. In the furure, I plan to purchase the Chunk Light Tuna in the pouch and season myself.

The flavors include: Tomato Pesto Albacore
Herb & Garlic
Sweet & Spicy
Mango Chipotle Salmon
Lemon Pepper
Hickory Smoked

They also have pouches of Tuna Salad, regular chunk light tuna, and albacore tuna.

Tide Swash

I recently received a FREE sample of Tide Swash courtesy of Vocalpoint. There are several products in the new lineup but the item I received is called " Smooth it Out". I call it my little bottle of miracle but it's actually a spray that instantly releases wrinkles.

"From Crammed in a Drawer, to Out the Door..." This product is more then just a sophisticated catch phrase. Iron, meet your new enemy. Smooth it out took seconds to use. The instructions are simple: Find a piece of wrinkled clothing, lay it on a flat surface and spray. I did just that and in seconds the wrinkles were gone. The scent is clean and fresh. But when using too much or using on a heavier, larger garment, take note that the scent can become a bit overpowering.

Downy has a similar wrinkle release product but I promise you that this one crushes Downy. The reason? Tide's Smooth It Out Swash comes in a small aerosol can so it doesn't leave wet marks on your clothing like Downy's spray bottle. Another reason? Tide Swash is small enough to take on the go.

The Swash lineup now in testing:

•Fresh It Up- A spray to remove odors, it sells for $5 for a 2.5-ounce container.

•Get It Out- A stain-erasing pen, it goes for $3 for 0.4 ounces.

•Smooth It Out- A spray to remove wrinkles, it costs $5 for 5 ounces.

•Steam It Out- A moistened cloth (seven for $5) to toss in a dryer with the clothes, it removes odors and wrinkles after 10 minutes of tumbling.

The only downside? This product is not yet sold in stores. For more reviews on Tide Swash, check out this link from members of Vocalpoint who received their free sample.

Welcome!!

Recently, I signed up with Vocalpoint & Bzzagent. Both sites are word of mouth marketing sites allowing their members to try new products for free in exchange for their honest opinion/reviews. I found both sites by accident and am so happy I did. I love trying new product and even more, I love talking about them!

I joined several months ago and had only received one product to try and review. The sample I received was Tide Swash. I knew I couldn't blog once every couple of months so I took the opportunity to review products I had purchased on my own. I will also be sharing free product information, coupons and giveaways.

I would love to hear your feedback, questions and tips by commenting on a post or sending me an email.
