Saucony sent me the Black/Silver Jazz shoes to review. Right away, I was impressed with the sizing options. I have a pretty big foot for a woman and finding a size 11 shoe is nearly impossible. The Black/Silver Jazz Original is available as small as a size 5 and go up to a size 12. The shoes fit true to size. Because I can never find a size 11 shoe, I typically wear a 9.5 in men's. The Jazz 11 fits me perfectly.

These shoes have great traction and a removable insole. The black/silver pair I received come with one set of white laces and one set of black laces. The Jazz Original’s feature nylon and suede fabric with classic Saucony detailing.

When it comes to shoes and clothing, I am very particular. The Saucony Jazz shoes I received aren’t exactly my style but are a great value for women who like the classic retro appeal. Although they are incredibly lightweight, I found them to be too firm for me to use as a jogging or running shoe but they would make a great walking shoe.

Review: Trim Treads Fitness Shoes

How They Work

Initial Thoughts
Trim Treads run big and are only available in whole sizes.  So you should go down a size - if you normally wear an 8 go to a 7, and if you wear an 81/2 you should also go to a 7. I  normally wear a size 11 in women’s so I ordered my Trim Treads in a size 10. They fit perfectly!

I feel in love with Trim Treads as soon as I laid eyes on them. They remind me of an Asian sandal, which matches my fashion sense perfectly. I choose the blush sandals which are absolutely adorable! They are a beautiful cheery shade of cotton candy pink. They are made from 100% vegan materials. The soles are soft and cushiony and the strap is even softer. I couldn’t find the material used, but it feels like a soft terry.

Unlike other fitness shoes, Trim Treads require no unique exercises or activity to aid and improve your body.  This is very convenient for those of us who are not able to make it to the gym or set aside time during the day. I love the fact that I can put them on, clean my house, yet still receive all of the benefits from a workout.

Trim Treads Really Do Work
While balancing in these shoes, you are able to concentrate on different muscles that are  not normally used when wearing every day fitness shoes. I couldn’t wait to try my Trim Treads. As soon as I received them, I put them on and began walking back and forth throughout my living room. At first, I couldn’t feel a difference. It took just five minutes before it felt like I was on a Stairmaster. I could feel my calf and thigh muscles being targeted.

I could feel my legs burning from my ankles all the way up to my bum which was similar to the feeling I would get from an hour long speed-walk. I love wearing them around the house and wear them out on my regular shopping trips. Based on my height, weight and age, Livestrong suggests that shopping while pushing a grocery cart burns 198 calories in just 30 minutes. I can only imagine the additional calories I burn while wearing my Trim Treads!

Easy To Wear
The soles are thick under the ball of the foot and thin under the heel. I’m used to wearing chunky shoes so these didn’t take long to get used to. It took just a few seconds for me to become comfortable with my balance. My husband, who of course does not wear heels wanted to try them out. He put them on and began walking around with no problem at all. The first thing he said was “do they make these in mens too?”

The strap is very soft and comfortable, even through extended periods of time. There is limited traction on the bottom of these shoes. Trim Treads advises not to wear while driving or on wet surfaces.

Crocs Capri Suede Flip Flops Review

Crocs is best known for their original “classic style” clog shoe. It is nearly impossible to end the day without seeing at least one person sporting a pair of Crocs Classic Clogs. Personally, I prefer flip-flops or heels to the Croc Classic. It wasn’t until recently that I learned Crocs manufactures a complete line of stylish shoes for men, women, and children.

 

In addition to being recognized for their unique clog design, Crocs surpasses the competition with their Croslite technology which forms itself to the feet, allowing wearers to experience maximum cushioning and ultimate comfort. When I learned Crocs was approved as diabetic footwear and recommended by the U.S. Ergonomics as well as many podiatrists, I knew I was missing out on something amazing.

Initially, I assumed Crocs only had the clog like style shoes. After exploring their website, I was happily surprised at how many cute and fun styles they have available. They have styles to accommodate everyone in the family. My personal favorites include the Crocs Flip Flops, Boots, Sandals, Heels and Wedges, YOU by Crocs and Ocean Minded.

I was recently given the opportunity to review the Women’s Crocs Capri Suede flip flop. Capri Suede offers three color options: Black / Black, Chocolate / Bubble Gum, Navy / Sky Blue and is available in sizes 4-12.

While all three color options look beautiful, I chose the black/black because of the sleek black and white two-tone combination. After removing my Crocs from the shipping package, I noticed the color is actually grey on black.

Despite my disappointment with the color, I slid my new flip flips on. Suddenly, I forgot all about the color and focused more on the amazing comfort. The entire foot bed is made with tiny circulation nubs to help circulate blood flow. The small nubs provided a heavenly massage with each step I took. I normally do not wear shoes in the house, however I refused to walk around without wearing my Crocs.

Because I have a wide foot and these flip flops are slender, I was concerned at how well they would fit.They actually fit great with room to spare. I like the fact that they are made with an elevated heel. The heel adds just a little height but is still low enough to make you feel like you aren’t wearing heels at all. If you have larger feet like I do, you will be happy to know there is just enough heel to make your foot appear smaller.

The one problem I constantly run into with other flip-flops are irritating straps. Usually, the strap feels okay when I first put them on, but after a few hours of wearing them I notice the strap rubbing against my foot. At the end of the day, I am left with sore feet covered in blisters. Crocs Capri Suede are the complete opposite. The strap is the perfect size – not too tight and not too loose. I have worn these daily since I received them and I have not experienced rubbing or blistering at all. These are the most comfortable flip flops I have ever worn!

Unfortunately, my husband and I were outside one day when it began pouring rain. I was wearing my Capri Suede flip flops. As we raced to make it indoors, I was immediately impressed at how well these shoes wear in the rain. Unlike most flipflops, the nubby footbed helped provide traction and my feet stayed securely in place without ever slipping. These affordable flip flops dried very quickly and are odor resistant.

Overall, the Crocs Capri Suede flip flops exceeded all of my expectations. It is so wonderful to have finally found a brand that provides attractive and trendy shoes without compromising comfort and affordability. If you haven’t tried Crocs, you are missing out on what could possibly be the most comfortable shoe ever made!

They slide on, and are extremely comfortable. These would be great for women looking for additional height. I would also recommend these for women who are new to wearing heels or platforms. If you’re more comfortable with a smaller heel, Pinup Shoes also has a great selection of cute flip flops and sandals with less height. Price: $45.50.

Gladiator sandals were in style last year and they are even more popular this summer. The Gladiator Black Kid Platforms are made by one of my favorite shoe manufacturers, Highest Heel. These brand new Gladiator style platforms are made with a 6” heel and feature a fully adjustable ankle strap. They are available in sizes 5-12 and come complete with Pinup Shoes signature foot bed technology.

For women new to stilettos, these shoes may need to be worn a few times to fully adjust to the height. I am 5’9 and found that the ankle strap is not only sexy, but it makes these incredibly easy to walk in. The soles include padding which made these very comfortable. The top of the shoe includes black braided knots. These sexy high heels are so stylish and are a must have for this summer! Price: $89.00.

While the Gladiator Platform and Demonia Sandal may not suit every woman's taste, a traditional black pump is something every woman should own.  I couldn’t resist these sexy platforms!  Bordello by Pleaser is a concealed black patent pump with a 1 3/4" concealed platform and a 5 3/4" Heel.

These sexy pumps arrived in the prettiest shoebox I have ever seen. My shoes were securely tucked inside two protective shoe covers. When I removed my shoes from their covers, it was like falling in love all over again. These shoes are chic, fun and sexy. This is such a classic shoe and they have quickly become one of my favorites because this is a shoe that will never go out of fashion.  I have a big foot compared to most women. What I like about these shoes is the fact that they make the foot appear smaller. The inside of the shoes are covered in elegant white and black designs with a small hot pink Bordello label in the center. I was surprised at how comfortable these shoes are. I have worn them on several occasions and they are just as comfortable each and every time. The concealed platform makes these shoes great to wear to the office, out on the town and everywhere in between.

It is impossible to put these shoes on and not feel sexy. I love how they make my legs look longer and leaner. In addition to black (shiny or matte), these shoes are also available in red, light pink, white, green glitter, purple glitter, red rhinestone, and  silver rhinestone. With sizes available in 6-12, every woman will be able to look and feel sexy in these beautiful platform pumps! Price: $64.40.
