General Mills and My Blog Spark Prize Pack Giveaway

General Mills is the world's sixth largest food company. It is estimated that U.S Shoppers purchase at least one General Mills product each time they visit the grocery store. Did you know General Mills makes everything from Bisquick biscuits, baking products, organic foods, breads, pastas, cereals, frozen pizza and pizza rolls, fruit snacks, soups, heart healthy granola bars, snacks, vegetables, ice cream, yogurt, dinner kits, potato mixes and more? With such a wide range of products, I dare you to go to the grocery store and not find at least one General Mills product that you can't live without!

General Mills has three new products to satisfy those sweet and salty cravings sold exclusively at convenience stores! I recently received a  mouthwatering Sweet and Salty Prize Pack from My Blog Spark and General Mills. My prize pack included two each of the following General Mills products: Triple Chocolate Cocoa Puffs Treats, Hot Buffalo Bugles, Nature Valley Oats ‘N Dark Chocolate Crunchy Granola Bars, a soft cotton Bugles T-shirt and a fancy insulated travel mug complete with a non-slip rubber grip!

Hot Buffalo Bugles: Need something salty with a bit of a kick? Look no further than Bugles Hot Buffalo Crisp Corn Snacks, which blends the taste of hot buffalo sauce with crispy corn Bugles.

Bugles have been around for as long as I can remember. According to General Mills, Bugles have been enjoyed by families across the nation for the past five decades. How could anyone forget these fun, funnel shaped, crunchy snacks?! I will be honest, I haven't had them in quite a long time, but that has all changed since trying the new Hot Buffalo Bugles.

I love anything spicy, especially spicy snacks. The Hot Buffalo Bugles are amazingly light and airy with a puffy, woven texture. The flavor reminds me of my favorite Frank's Red Hot Sauce, although they aren't quite as spicy. You may not taste the heat with just one or two, but these are so good- you won't stop until the entire bag is gone. And once you have devoured the entire bag, you will definitely notice the nice bite they have.

Triple Chocolate Cocoa Puffs Treats: A rich, indulgent cereal bar that combines great-tasting Cocoa Puffs cereal and chocolate into one decadent treat.

Anyone who likes Cocoa Puffs Cereal, will absolutely love the new Triple Chocolate Cocoa Puffs Treats. Chocolate lovers have met their new ultimate chocolate snack. Get ready to throw your favorite candy bars away! The new Triple Chocolate Cocoa Puffs Treats are made of Cocoa Puffs, chocolate chips, then dipped in chocolate and drizzled with yes, even more chocolate! My husband and son devoured the first bar and fought over the second. These are definitely a new favorite of theirs.

Nature Valley Oats ‘N Dark Chocolate Crunchy Granola Bars: These bars mix dark chocolate pieces, oats and crisp rice nuggets for a classic crunch and burst of whole grain goodness, making them a perfect natural snack that's high in fiber and protein, but low in saturated fat.

The Nature Valley Oats ‘N Dark Chocolate Crunchy Granola Bars are a very satisfying crunchy granola bar with a subtle chocolate flavor. I rarely eat chocolate because I find the the taste to be too rich and overpowering. If you would like to try a snack with a light chocolate flavor, these are perfect to satisfy your sweet craving. These are my absolute favorite!

All of these General Mills snacks are great for snacking around the house or taking on the run! Go ahead and wipe the drool from your chin... General Mills and My Blog Spark is offering you the chance to win the same Sweet and Salty Prize Pack I received!

Pirate's Booty Review

Pirate's Booty LogoWhen you hear Pirate's Booty, the first thing that probably comes to mind is Johnny Depp in a pair of tights. As nice as that may be, I have something even better to tell you about!

Pirate Brands is leading the healthy snacking revolution by creating all Pirate's Booty Review at Review Retreatnatural, baked, and delicious snacks for the entire family. They began creating healthier treasures in 1987 with the belief no one should have to "snackrifice" taste for health. Pirates Booty offers four healthy snack options: Pirate's Booty, Potato Flyers, Smart Puffs, and Original Tings.

Pirate’s Booty is a deliciously baked all-natural snack made from puffed rice and corn. Pirate’s Booty comes in six mouth- watering flavors: Aged White Cheddar, Barbecue, Veggie (vegan), Sour Cream & Onion, New York Pizza and Sea Salt & Vinegar. All Pirate’s Booty products are are low in fat ( 130 calories or less), gluten free, trans-fat free as well as tree-nut free! In addition, all Pirate's Booty snacks are kosher, and contain no preservatives or artificial sweeteners.

My son and I were so excited to try Pirates Booty. We received a large treasure chest stuffed with Pirate's Booty, a chip clip and several temporary tattoos. Now, when I hear puffed rice & corn, I think back to the hard and crunchy rice cake snacks my grandma used to give my brothers and me. Pirate's Booty tastes nothing like that! They are almost popcorn- like. They are very airy with a light crunch.

Pirate's Booty Treasure ChestThe first flavor I tried was New York Pizza. I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful these taste! They remind me of pizza, only with a zesty crunch. My pizza lover son devoured the entire bag in no time at all. I had to interrupt and remind him to chew. The Sea Salt & Vinegar were tangy from the balsamic vinegar, and had just enough salt to satisfy my craving. Yum, definitely one of my favorites! Barbecue was another one of my favorites. If you like Barbecue chips, you will love these. The flavor tastes very much like the seasoning on Barbecue chips, only better. Next, I tried the Aged White Cheddar. There is no lack of flavor here! These are bursting with cheese flavor and were my absolute favorite!

Each and every bite was a crunchy puff of deliciousness, bursting with flavor! The only thing I didn't like, was we ran out so fast! Pirate's Booty is so good, you won't want to share. Even my two year old can't resist Pirate's Booty. He was eating a chocolate cookie when he saw me open a bag of Pirate's Booty. He pushed his snack aside, and ran towards me screaming "Booty, Booty, Booty!!" I love that I have discovered a healthy snack that my entire family will enjoy, including my picky two year old.
