Crocs is best known for their original “classic style” clog shoe. It is nearly impossible to end the day without seeing at least one person sporting a pair of Crocs Classic Clogs. Personally, I prefer flip-flops or heels to the Croc Classic. It wasn’t until recently that I learned Crocs manufactures a complete line of stylish shoes for men, women, and children.
In addition to being recognized for their unique clog design, Crocs surpasses the competition with their Croslite technology which forms itself to the feet, allowing wearers to experience maximum cushioning and ultimate comfort. When I learned Crocs was approved as diabetic footwear and recommended by the U.S. Ergonomics as well as many podiatrists, I knew I was missing out on something amazing.
Initially, I assumed Crocs only had the clog like style shoes. After exploring their website, I was happily surprised at how many cute and fun styles they have available. They have styles to accommodate everyone in the family. My personal favorites include the Crocs Flip Flops, Boots, Sandals, Heels and Wedges, YOU by Crocs and Ocean Minded.
I was recently given the opportunity to review the Women’s Crocs Capri Suede flip flop. Capri Suede offers three color options: Black / Black, Chocolate / Bubble Gum, Navy / Sky Blue and is available in sizes 4-12.
While all three color options look beautiful, I chose the black/black because of the sleek black and white two-tone combination. After removing my Crocs from the shipping package, I noticed the color is actually grey on black.
Despite my disappointment with the color, I slid my new flip flips on. Suddenly, I forgot all about the color and focused more on the amazing comfort. The entire foot bed is made with tiny circulation nubs to help circulate blood flow. The small nubs provided a heavenly massage with each step I took. I normally do not wear shoes in the house, however I refused to walk around without wearing my Crocs.
Because I have a wide foot and these flip flops are slender, I was concerned at how well they would fit.They actually fit great with room to spare. I like the fact that they are made with an elevated heel. The heel adds just a little height but is still low enough to make you feel like you aren’t wearing heels at all. If you have larger feet like I do, you will be happy to know there is just enough heel to make your foot appear smaller.
The one problem I constantly run into with other flip-flops are irritating straps. Usually, the strap feels okay when I first put them on, but after a few hours of wearing them I notice the strap rubbing against my foot. At the end of the day, I am left with sore feet covered in blisters. Crocs Capri Suede are the complete opposite. The strap is the perfect size – not too tight and not too loose. I have worn these daily since I received them and I have not experienced rubbing or blistering at all. These are the most comfortable flip flops I have ever worn!
Unfortunately, my husband and I were outside one day when it began pouring rain. I was wearing my Capri Suede flip flops. As we raced to make it indoors, I was immediately impressed at how well these shoes wear in the rain. Unlike most flipflops, the nubby footbed helped provide traction and my feet stayed securely in place without ever slipping. These affordable flip flops dried very quickly and are odor resistant.
Overall, the Crocs Capri Suede flip flops exceeded all of my expectations. It is so wonderful to have finally found a brand that provides attractive and trendy shoes without compromising comfort and affordability. If you haven’t tried Crocs, you are missing out on what could possibly be the most comfortable shoe ever made!
