Steel Orchids Charm Bracelet Review

Steel Orchids was established seven years ago by jewelry designer and silversmith, Mary Micouris. They have an ever-expanding catalogue of gold, diamond, silver and gemstone jewelry in everything from bracelets, necklaces, earrings and beautiful charms.

Charm bracelets have been a favorite of mine since I was a young girl. They are such a classic piece that can be worn by girls and women of all ages. I was especially giddy when I found out I would be reviewing a Giorgio Martello Charm bracelet.

I received the Silver Bracelet from Lucky Charms by Giorgio Martello. Crafted from sterling silver, this beautiful charm bracelet is such a timeless jewelry piece. The base of this dangling charm bracelet is made from interlocking links. The bracelet I received is 19.5 cm. in length, yet it is also available in a longer, 20.5 cm length.

You can wear this charm bracelet alone, or dress it up with a few charms that really help show off your unique personality. I was sent two charms, both from the Lucky Charms by Giorgio Martello collection.

              

The first charm is a beautiful Silver Starfish Charm. The second is a gorgeous Seashell and Pearl Charm. Both charms are exquisitely and carefully crafted out of sterling silver 925. The rhodanised surface offers an outstanding finish which increases comfort and prevents tarnishing.

Both charms feature a lobster claw clasp, which is my absolute favorite type of closure. They are easy to add to the charm bracelet and they remain secure. I have lost many charms throughout the years, but never a charm with a lobster-clasp closure. The Starfish Charm and Seashell Charm remind me of the beach and would be great for anyone who loves the water or beach. Wild Texas Wear Review

In the spirit of Texas and in the hearts of all Texans, Wild Texas Wear has designed a line of "Texas Inspired Apparel". Their inspiration comes from the Texas Gulf Coast to the high plains of the Texas Panhandle, from the rich black soil of East Texas to the wild West Texas, from the oil workers to cowboys and cowgirls, from the big cities along the Interstates to the small towns on the county roads. I know what you may be thinking- Texans wear cowboy boots with spurs, long-sleeved button down shirts, mom jeans and cowboy hats, so why would I want to dress like that? Although you will find true cowboys wearing such apparel, the majority of us dress just like anyone else.

I don’t normally wear hats, but I fell completely in love with the Women’s Cowgirl Hat with Turquoise. Women – Cowgirl hats set you apart from the crowd, give you a little confidence boost and make you look instantly sexy. What man can resist a southern girl?I love just about everything at Wild Texas Wear and I could go on and on about their unique apparel, but let’s save that for another time. The first Item I received was the Ladies Cupid Shorts. These shorts are made from 80% Polyester and 20% French Terry. These comfy women’s shorts are sold in red with white designs or white with pink designs and are available in sizes small – 2xl.

I received the White shorts, which I have been wearing since I received them. I love how soft and comfortable they are. On the right front side a Wild Texas Wear logo is printed and the left front features a dainty pink tribal design surrounding the shape of Texas. On each side of that is a matching pink heart. These shorts include a covered elastic waistband with a drawstring which allows for maximum comfort. The inseam is 3 inches including the double needle hemmed bottom. I rarely wear shorts, but I can’t seem to take these off. I have without a doubt found the most comfortable shorts and my favorite lounge wear!



Wild Texas Wear has a wide selection of women’s tank tops. I was so excited to receive the Ladies Texas 1836 Tank. This tank top is available in six color options- red, violet, light blue, light pink, white and black. The sizes in this classic tank top also range from small to 2xl. Texas 1836 is printed across the front chest with the Wild Texas Wear tagline at the bottom left corner (Texas won its independence from Mexico on April 21, 1836). I love the bold design and the overall feminine look of this tank top. The material is made from preshrunk 100% cotton jersey and is very soft. I received the blue tank which actually looks more like a bright bluish- turquoise. This tank top would be great for layering or worn alone.



I also received the Respect a Texas Lady Tee. This soft 100% cotton t-shirt features a retro cowgirl taking aim and sending the message “ Respect a Texas Cowgirl”.  This tee is available in white, sand, and Texas Orange- you know the beautiful burnt orange color just like the best college  football team, the Texas Longhorns! I received the white t-shirt and although the size is too small for me, this shirt is designed to fit like a baby tee, or very snug. I gave this shirt to my mother and she absolutely loves how soft it feels and and flattering it is.

Normally, I would say “ I saved the best for last” but in this case I love all of the Wild Texas Wear products I received! The last item I received is the Rhinestone Bracelet. I must first tell you I am not a fan of anything that resembles cow skin. I have always thought it looked tacky, until I saw this unique bracelet. I loved it so much, I emailed a picture to my closet friends bragging about it. Take a look for yourself….


The Rhinestone Bracelet is made of genuine hair on hide and features a crystal filled cross in the center. There are 3 large pearlescent rhinestones on each side of the cross along with several tiny rhinestones and silver studs. This bracelet is lined with a silver beaded strand and is designed to fit most women by including a snap closure with three sizing options. This trendy bracelet is high quality and it certainly shows. I love how the light reflects off of the rhinestones. The Rhinestone Bracelet is comfortable, and I love receiving compliments every time I wear it! If you are looking for a unique piece of jewelry to really complete your outfit and set you apart from others, I highly recommend the Rhinestone Bracelet!

MY THOUGHTS
Like most women, I have a small obsession with jewelry. When I take my earrings off, I usually just set them on my nightstand, dresser, bathroom vanity or in my jewelry box. When I go to wear them again, I notice that there is always one missing. I have tons of earrings, but nearly half of my collection is missing an earring.

I have searched for jewelry stands in the past but everything I came across was designed with a young girl or teen in mind. When I was contacted by Earring Holder Gallery, I immediately headed over to their website. I was very impressed by their designs. They don't limit their selection to a specific age group and definitely have something for girls and women of all ages.

MY REVIEW
For my review, I chose one of Earring Holder Gallery's best sellers, the Square Combo Holder. They have so many cute and fun designs! I am not a martini drinker, but I have always been fascinated with the fun shapes and colors of martini glasses.When I saw the stylish Martini Earring Holder, I knew right away I had to have it!

Depending on the size of your earrings, the Square Combo Earring and Jewelry Holder will hold 22-38 pairs of earrings. This earring holder also features a removable wooden jewelry rod for you to drape your necklaces and bracelets over. My trendy Martinis Earring and jewelry holder measures 11 1/2" wide and 13" tall (including the dowel). It comes with two hangers attached to the back for easy placement on the wall.

My earring holder is even more beautiful then I imagined. I love the antique look of the wood frame. There is plenty of room to safety store all of my earrings. Since I have lost so many earrings over the years, I am anxious to purchase more earrings to help fill up my new earring holder. I am very impressed by the high quality and durability. I was able to hang my jewelry holder on two thumbtacks in just a matter of seconds. As soon as I enter my bedroom, my eyes are immediately drawn to the bright and bold colors of the martinis, olives, cherries, and cucumbers that fill my earring holder.

I also received a Wire Thingy. These are designed especially for earrings with a lever back and hoop earrings.
You simply hook the Wire Thingy in the mesh like you would with a french wire earring. I found the Wire Thingy very useful for hanging my hoop earrings. What's great is Earring Holder Gallery ships a FREE Wire Thingy in a coordinating color with every Earring Holder purchase. I was able to hang 3 pair of hoops and could probably hang 3 more comfortably. If you have a large collection of hoop earrings, I suggest purchasing additional Wire Thingys ($2.00 each). Overall, I am very happy with my Square Combo Earring Holder. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing. I can't wait to head to the store to purchase more earrings!

My Review

This purchase price for this bracelet is $45.00. You may need to take a seat before I tell you the appraisal value! This bracelet was appraised for $525.00!

This is my first pearl bracelet and I am so excited to show it off! Everyone who sees me wearing it comments on how beautiful it is and asks where to get one. I have never seen this type of clasp before and was worried that the clasp would come loose. I have been wearing my pearl bracelet for several days and it hasn't come loose a single time.

Pearls are timeless and can be worn with nearly everything you choose from your wardrobe. My bracelet has a beautiful shimmer and is simply breathtaking . The white, lavender and pink colors will surely compliment any skin tone. The pearls in this bracelet are perfectly shaped and simply gorgeous. I look forward to wearing my pearls for years to come!

Charm Factory Charm Bracelet Review

I was recently given the opportunity to review a charm bracelet from Charm Factory. It was a tough decision because they have so many wonderful charms and charm bracelets, but I finally decided on the Joyful Colors Swarovski Heart Bracelet.

These brilliant, shimmering, eye-catching Swarovski heart crystals constantly lift your spirits as they radiate their amazing joyful light. This simply spectacular sterling silver Joyful Colors Swarovski Crystal Heart Bracelet is sure to dazzle and delight anyone. Carefully crafted on a stunning and dainty, yet extremely durable, figure 8 sterling silver foundational bracelet with lobster clasp. Made of .925 sterling silver and Swarovski crystal hearts, this bracelet is 7" with a 2" extender.

I chose this bracelet because of the beautiful pastels. This picture really does no justice. My bracelet is absolutely beautiful. I have always been a huge fan of charm bracelets. The one problem I have always had is the charms breaking loose and falling off. I can tell you this won't happen with charms from Charm Factory. It took me awhile to find out how the charms were attached. Normally you can see a gap in the connector but these are made very well. It would be very difficult to lose a charm from your bracelet. I also love that the charms are spread out far enough to add additional charms. The colors in this bracelet reflect light beautifully. I wore my bracelet yesterday while driving. The light reflected off of the pink and white charms and my heart dropped. From the corner of my eye, it looked like police lights flashing! I couldn't help but look down at my sparkling bracelet every couple of minutes. I was really surprised at how lightweight my bracelet was. I have a bad wrist, so it was nice to find something loose and lightweight.

My favorite section of Charm Factory is their huge selection of awareness ribbon charms. I plan to purchase the teal awareness charm which raises awareness for Ovarian, Uterine, Cervical Cancers, including Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Most women don't know what PCOS is, but it is very common and can be very serious. Not only are these ribbons eye-catching, but they are a great way to spread awareness by sharing your own personal story. No matter what it is you are looking for, Charm Factory has something for everyone. At these prices, the deals are too good to pass up!
