Fit For Fall: Oregon Chi Tea Review and Giveaway

More excited than a child on Christmas morning, was me finding a fancy tumbler in my package. It features double-walled acrylic to help keep my tea nice and cold. The tumbler is reusable, as is the acrylic screw-top lid and acrylic straw. I have been wanting one of these since I first saw them. It’s very similar to the clear plastic cups you see at Starbucks or other coffee houses. After using my acrylic cup, I was even more ecstatic. It keeps my Chai tea cold, which is wonderful feature to have, especially if you live in Texas. I have lost count of the number of days we’ve exceeded 100° and it has been so nice to have a tumbler to keep my beverage cool. Even better? My chai was smooth, rich and creamy and dare I say addictive?

Preparation is quick and easy. Simply add 2 Tbsp of Chai Tea Latte Mix to hot water or  add 2 Tbsp of Chai Tea Latte to warm water and pour over ice. I enjoy my chai both hot and cold, but because of the hot summer, I have been drinking mine served with ice. I’m waiting for winter to het here so that I may enjoy my chai served hot on a more regular basis. The Oregon Chai coffee mug and USB-powered coffee cup warmer is perfect for drinking hot Chai Latte. For now, I have been putting my oversized mug to good use by filling it with homemade noodles and tomatoes.

If you have never added milk to your tea, I highly recommend trying it. When I first heard of this, I thought it sounded terrible, but adding milk is the only way I will drink tea nowadays. Adding a splash of milk or soy not only tastes great, but it adds a creamier experience with added froth.
