Luster 1 Hour White Review

I have never considered my teeth to be attractive. They have been stained for as long as I can remember. Through the many years of smoking and drinking countless cups of coffee and tea, my teeth have really started to turn yellow. I find it embarrassing to smile and constantly worry of what other people with think.

I recently had the opportunity to try Luster 1 Hour White. Before I share my review, let's go over the product details.

How To Use: Install the included batteries into the activating light. Rinse with the accelerator mouth rinse for 10 seconds. Next, brush the super whitening gel on each individual tooth. The final step is to hold the activating light up to your teeth. Turn the light on once you have it in position. The light will automatically shut off after 2 minutes to reveal a brighter smile.

My Thoughts: The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I have used whitening strips and rinses in the past and they all seem to make my teeth especially sensitivity. I was able to use 1 Hour White without experiencing the least bit of sensitivity.

The Accelerating Mouth Rinse has a slight taste, but not at all terrible. The Whitening Gel has a bottle and brush similar to a bottle of White-Out. The brush made it very easy to apply to my teeth with perfect precision, minus the mess. Once the Whitening Gel dried (takes just a few seconds), I was ready to use the Whitening Light.

There were a few occasions where I became impatient and turned my light off early to repeat the process. One hour may seem like a long time, but it beats using strips every single day. If you feel an hour is too long, you may prefer to whiten you teeth in one application one day and finish the remaining 10 applications another day.

After 30 Minutes / 10 -2 Minute Applications

I had to see my dentist this week for an abscessed wisdom tooth and I brought my Luster 1 Hour White with me to hear his opinion. Based on the products in the kit and the ingredients used, he thought this would be an excellent whitening product. His only suggestion was to have a professional cleaning prior to whitening to achieve maximum results. As you can see, I received great results with just one 30 minute use. According to the shade guide, my teeth are 4 shades lighter! I was very surprised in the difference, especially after just using 1 Hour White for 30 Minutes. I may consider having my teeth cleaned prior to my next use, although I don't think it is completely necessary since I was able to achieve such amazing results without a cleaning.
