Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Review & Giveaway

When you’re a teenager, you can’t wait to “grow up”. Once you do grow a few years older, you are wishing you could turn back time. Just the other day, I ran into the store to purchase a bottle of wine. The cashier didn’t ask to see my drivers license. She even declined to look at it even after I pleaded to show it to her. I wanted to cry at the checkout counter and may have shed a few tears on the drive home. It was at that time, I realized I don’t look as young as I thought I did. Luckily, I discovered a great line of organic skincare products known as Juice Beauty.

Juice Beauty carries a full line of organic skin care products as well as organic beauty products for women and men of all skin types. Juice Beauty uses certified organic ingredients including a 100% organic juice base. Their products contain no pesticides, parabens, petroleum or propylene glycol derivatives, no harsh surfactants or sulfates, no artificial colors, phthalates or synthetic fragrances.

From the Green Apple Collection, I was sent the Green Apple Peel Sensitive. Designed for sensitive skin, the Green Apple Peel Sensitive is made from a hydroxy acid complex of certified organic apple, lemon, grape juices and raw cane sugar.

Designed for sensitive skin, this refining hydroxy acid complex of certified organic apple, lemon, grape juices and raw cane sugar exfoliates and brightens for visibly improved skin tone and texture.

When I opened the jar of Green Apple Peel, my senses were immediately awakened by the delightful apple scent. The apple scent is light and fresh as if someone puréed ripe apples and added them to the Juice Beauty jar. The fragrance smells delicious enough to eat! It resembles actual fruit rather than overpowering added fragrances that I experience with other products.

Fortunately, I was able to control my urge to digest my new facial peel and proceeded with the application. The instructions suggest applying a generous layer to a cleansed face and neck for up to 10 minutes before rinsing. The peel glides on smoothly and is non-greasy. This peel is absorbed by the skin. It’s not a peel in which you apply and literally peel off. It was easy to apply and just as easy to remove.

After the first use, I noticed how incredibly soft and smooth my skin felt. After several uses, I have already began to notice an improvement in my skin’s texture. My face doesn’t look or feel as dry as it did prior to using this wonderful treatment. My skin definitely feels hydrated and nourished.

I found the Green Apple Peel Sensitive to be very gentle on my skin. I didn’t experience any redness or tingling which is a great benefit since I usually have a hard time finding products that are truly “sensitive”. In the summer time, my face tends to break out more. I haven’t had a breakout since using my peel, and my pores have significantly reduced in size!

Once I run out of my sample size, I am definitely buying the full size peel. I am excited to see the improvements in my skin over continuous use. If you suffer from Keratosis Pilaris, or KP, you may want to give the Green Apple Peel Sensitive a try. While I haven’t used this to treat my KP, I have read reviews suggesting it has helped reduce the bumps caused by KP. Once I have my full size jar, I will put it to the “KP test” and give an updated review.
