Ceramcor Xtrema Cookware Review and Giveaway

XTREMA-LOGO

If you think all cookware is created equal, you haven’t tried Xtrema by Ceramcor. Xtrema Ceramic Cookware is like no other product on the market: free of poisonous toxins, allows extreme versatility, provides consistent heat throughout and so much more!

Now that I have a family, I feel it is important to cook healthy meals on a regular basis. Most of the pots and pans I have were given to me by my mother. Although they may have once worked well for her, I can definitely tell they are cheap pots and pans. Every piece of food seems to stick, regardless if non-stick spray is used. I didn’t realize how long it took to cook food on my current cookware, until I tried Xtrema.

Although the features certainly sound amazing, they weren’t enough to convince me. I decided to put my 10" Open Ceramic Skillet to the test. The instructions included with my new cookware recommended I start by using a medium heat setting for just 1 to 2 minutes. It also indicates the Xtrema pan may take a little extra time to get fully heated. I found this to be no problem at all. In fact it was ideal for me. I placed my Xtrema skillet on a medium-low setting while I prepped my chicken breasts. Once Xtrema is fully heated, it is recommended that the heat setting be adjusted to a lower setting because Xtrema retains heat much longer than a standard skillet or pan. Once I finished prepping my chicken, I sprayed the skillet with a light olive oil non-stick spray and added my chicken strips.

Our stove is electric, which in my opinion is the worst type of range to cook on. When I cook on my electric stove, I find that it always takes such a long time to heat up. Not only that, but the heat is not consistent throughout. With large pans, I am always forced to move all of the food contents to the center. Xtrema was completely opposite. I was able to place the chicken along the rim of the pan and found that they cooked just as well as the pieces in the center.

Adding to its versatility, Xtrema is safe for oven use, microwave use, toaster ovens, microwaves, and yes, even on the grill. Xtrema can be stored safely in the freezer or refrigerator.

Not only did my Xtrema skillet provide even and consistent heat throughout, but our Xtrema skillet retained the heat which allowed the chicken to cook much faster than our other non-stick cookware. Many cookware brands claim to have non-stick cookware. Many are just coated and scratch very easily. I used metal tongs and purposely tried to scratch the skillet. I am so happy to tell you I was unsuccessful. It was impossible to scratch my Xtrema pan. Because Xtrema is truly a real nonstick pan, it cannot release harmful particles into your food. Xtrema is 100% non-toxic, is made with natural minerals, contains no harmful PTFE coating.

While my chicken did not stick, the seasonings I used did. I actually took the chicken with my tongs and rubbed it across the seasonings in the pan. The seasonings then adhered to the chicken, which added extra flavor!

I like that I can use any type of utensil with Xtrema. I am not limited to using a wooden spoon or plastic spatula. Xtrema recommends using pot holders when handling hot Xtrema bakeware in all cooking methods – oven, broiler, stovetop, microwave, toaster oven and barbeque grill. However, I was able to comfortably grip the handle without the use of potholders.

salad

Wow! I know I am a terrible photographer, but I never thought a salad could look so delicious! The chicken cooked in my Xtrema skillet was juicy, tender and full of flavor. My husband commented that I need to cook in my new pan every night because it was a nice change from the dry chicken I usually serve. Xtrema is everything I could have ever asked for plus more. It’s versatile, dishwasher safe, non-stick, heavy-duty, offers a sleek design, and works better than anything I have ever tried. I never in my life thought I would like cookware this much, but I LOVE my Xtrema Skillet!

Xtrema may be a bit pricier than your standard cookware, but it is honestly worth every cent! I have spend hundreds more on my cookware collection and the only pan I use now is my Xtrema Skillet. Xtrema offers a 50 year warranty, which adds ease. Christmas is only a few months away and their 16 Piece Ceramic Cookware Set is already on my list!
