Click Espresso Protein Drink Review and Giveaway

Click Protein DrinkProtein is one of the body's main building blocks for muscle, bone, skin, and other tissues. I have tried several varieties of whey protein drinks as well as soy protein drinks. The reason I have tried a variety of brands is because I can never find one that actually tastes good. Sure, it may be packed full of protein, and essential vitamins and minerals, but if I need to hold my nose to gulp it down, I would rather pass.

I recently had the opportunity to try CLICK Espresso Protein Drink. CLICK is like no other protein drink mix on the market. It combines protein with double shot espresso to create a satisfying all-in-one energy drink.

About Click

Greg and Beth Smith own a chain of women’s fitness centers in the Fresno, California area. They created CLICK after their search for a delicious, healthy, protein drink was unsuccessful. Every serving of CLICK includes 23 vitamins and minerals, a double shot espresso, 15 grams of protein and just 120 calories!

My Initial Thoughts

Based on the nutritional information, CLICK certainly appeared to be promising. With it’s high protein level, low calorie, low sugar and low carb content, CLICK definitely has everything a good protein drink should have.

I received my CLICK Espresso Protein drink during the time that my brother was home on leave before his next assignment. He servers in the military and is extremely fit and muscular. He consumes protein drinks on a daily basis so I asked him to tell me what he thought about CLICK. As he read over the label, he told me CLICK sounds like a great product and would be highly beneficial to me.

CLICK

My Review

I received a 16 ounce canister of the Mocha blend and was very impressed by the sleek (Pink/black) packaging design. I also received the CLICK Shaker, which has a 20 ounce capacity and includes a whisk ball.

The instructions suggest CLICK can be enjoyed as a hot or cold beverage. Since it’s 100° in Texas, I opted for the cold version. I have been enjoying CLICK on a daily basis and have discovered when adding ice, it is best to mix water with your protein powder. Once the protein powder is blended well, you may add ice. The first time I prepared my protein drink, I added ice to water, then my protein powder. The protein powder adhered to the ice and did not mix well. CLICK tastes great without ice, but when ice is added it reminds me of my favorite Starbucks iced beverage. CLICK is smooth and chocolaty. Best of all – it tastes like a gourmet drink rather than a protein drink and there is no bad aftertaste.

When preparing my CLICK protein drink, I used the Shaker with the included whisk ball. My drink blended well each and every time. It was so nice to be able to enjoy my protein drink with out globs of powder. The shaker is clear and includes a pink and black CLICK logo. The lid is black with a white stopper. I love the design and feel comfortable taking my shaker cup with me. I was impressed by the non-leak design. I even dropped my shaker cup when it was full, and it didn’t leak a drop. The shaker cup, lid, and whisk ball are all dishwasher safe, which makes for easy cleanup. I enjoy mine quite often though, so I just rinse with soapy water and place on the drying rack.

Each serving of CLICK contains as much caffeine as a single cup of coffee. CLICK is a great alternative to sugary sodas and energy drinks. I absolutely love the taste! Finally, a delicious protein drink, I actually want to drink. I drink two glasses of CLICK a day, and would drink more, if I could without elevating my protein intake.

I was even surprised to find out my husband enjoys CLICK too. He doesn’t normally drink coffee, but he loved CLICK so much, he stole my shaker from me. When mixing CLICK without the shaker, the majority of the powder dissolves, but there is still a small amount that may surface to the top of the liquid. I would highly recommend the shaker cup, or two if you don’t want yours disappearing.

Besides tasting absolutely delicious, and delivering protein and essential vitamins and nutrients, CLICK gave me the energy boost I was looking for. It tastes better than coffee, has less sugar and kept me going throughout the day, without feeling jittery or crashing mid-morning. Purchase information is available below. Softlips Review and Giveaway

softlips-logo We often purchase beauty products to help us look younger, or help us look more “put together” and to boost our confidence. Often times we focus on areas that need improvement. For instance, I would never dream of leaving my house without mascara on. When focusing on our flaws, it is easy to overlook areas that need protection. We all know the importance of applying sunscreen when we are exposed to the sun, and it is just as important to protect our lips.

Softlips® offers a complete line of lip care products with a perfect blend of style and function to keep lips soft, moisturized, beautiful and healthy. Known for its unique slim stick design, the brand has an array of flavored lip balms with SPF 20 and a new line of natural lip care products made with 100% natural ingredients - including a certified organic lip balm line. Softlips® now adds a touch of color, with tinted balms and light glosses that go with every skin tone.

The first products I tried were the Tinted Lip Balms. These tinted lip balms provide ultimate softlips lip relief with 100% natural moisturizers and include sunscreen for added UVA/UVB protection. The tinted lip balms are available in five colors- Pearl, Rose, Shell Pink, Natural Honesty, Coral Charm, and two limited edition colors- Serene and Sweet. Each lip balm comes in a ,07 oz tube, small enough to carry in your purse and even your pockets! All of them contain sunscreen and natural tinted color.

I received the Shell Pink Lip Balm and Natural Honesty Lip Balms. At first glance, I thought I would hate the Natural Honesty balm. The color on the package looked like a tan or cool brown shade. I applied it to my lips and very pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t brown at all- in fact it matched my natural lip color perfectly. It actually made my lips look fuller, and I loved how they still looked natural. The Shell Pink is a beautiful light pink shade with a hint of shimmer. Both were easy to apply and lightweight. These are the perfect lip balms for summer time.

LipGlossBlisterGroup41164-med The next product I tried was the Sheer Lip Gloss. These glosses are available in 3 beautiful summer shades – Coral Charm, Natural Honesty and Shell Pink. The Natural Honesty is the same shade as the Lip Balm, only it leaves a glossy finish. The Shell Pink is a beautiful shimmery pink. Normally, when I hear coral, I think orange. Most coral colors have an orange hint to them. This is not orange at all. This gloss looks a lot darker from the tube then it actually is. I love this shade and am still trying to decide which one I like the most. This is a very natural shade, and I can only best describe it as a pinkish-nude color. It looks great on me and I am sure this color would compliment nearly every skin tone. All of these glosses are 100% natural and contain SPF 15. I am so ecstatic to have been given the opportunity to try the Soft Lips Lip Glosses. I normally pay $20.00 for my designer gloss, which does not even contain sunscreen. Soft Lips Pure Gloss retails for just $4.99! Soft Lips Glosses are non-sticky and last for hours. I am very impressed and would definitely recommend these.

softlips-glossThe last two products I received are a must have for anyone in need of relief from dry, cracked lips. The first is 100% Natural Lip Butter. The Lip Butter also contains SPF 15 and unlike the other products I tried, this is not tinted. This is non-greasy and glides on just as you would imaging butter would. This is the perfect lip moisturizer for anyone looking for lip protection without adding color. There is no scent, no color and my lips feel better than they have in years!

The second of the two, is the Soft Lips Lip Polish. Just as you would exfoliate your body to remove dead skin, the Lip Polish contains sugar crystals to remove dry, flaky skin from your lips. The lip polish suggests you rinse with water after massaging, but water is not absolutely necessary. I used a damp washcloth to wipe clean, revealing smooth, soft, healthy-looking lips. The crystals in this polish are microscopic and though much gentler than a body scrub, they work effectively at removing loose, dead skin. This fragrance free polish is non-greasy, and thick so it will not leave a runny mess. The best part, besides the cheap $5.99 price tag is that it tastes great, just like sugar and it helps to heal your lips, leaving them incredibly moisturized.

Peter Rabbit Organics Review

About Peter Rabbit Organics
As parents, we only want the best nutrition for our children. I know I have such a hard time finding healthy fruit snacks and other organic kid-friendly foods. Peter Rabbit Organics was founded for this very reason. They originally began in a small London based office and became such a huge hit that they now make them in Oregon and sell them across the U.S. Peter Rabbit Organics is committed to providing healthy organic fruit snacks.

Organic Fruit Pouches
Peter Rabbit Organics Fruit Snacks are made from pure, organic fruit. Every fruit snack includes a full serving of  100% fruit. Their fruit snacks are made without added sugar or preservatives and come in a BPA-free pouch, similar to a squeezable juice pouch. Peter Rabbit Organics Fruit Snacks are available in three different varieties: Strawberry- Banana, Apple- Grape and Mango- Banana- Orange. Peter Rabbit Organics Fruit Snacks are recommended for children ages 6 months and older.
My Review
My two year old son has turned his nose up at fruits from the time we first introduced him to baby food. He despises fresh fruit, canned fruit and frozen fruit. In the past, I have tried to hide fruit pieces in (his favorite) plain yogurt and cereal, but he always find the fruit and spits it out. When we received our Peter Rabbit Fruit Pouches, I wasn't quite sure how well this would go over with him. To be honest with you, I thought he would spit it out just as he has done in the past.

To my surprise, he absolutely loved them! The first flavor I gave him was the Strawberry and Banana. I attempted to take the pouch from him to have a taste for myself, but he pushed my hand away and shouted "no!". He carried his pouch around with him all over the house and refused to set it down. I finally managed to take the pouch from him for a quick taste. The Strawberry Banana Organic Fruit Snack tasted exactly as you would imagine - strawberries and bananas. It had a granular consistency similar to applesauce. And just like applesauce, the fruit snacks are easy to swallow without chewing. The pouches are made with a no-choke cap that can be easily twisted off by an adult.

I am very impressed that my son enjoys the Peter Rabbit Organics Fruit Snacks. The only problem I have is that I wish I had discovered them sooner! These fruit snacks can be enjoyed directly from the pouch which means no spoons or straws are required. Besides being yummy, these snacks are mess-free, convenient, and perfect for on-the-go. Peter Rabbit Organics pouches are convenient to drop into a diaper bag, lunch box or purse without breaking or spilling. Unopened pouches don't need to be refrigerated, which means they can be enjoyed at home or while you are out and about.

Where to Buy
Peter Rabbit Organics Pouches are sold online at Amazon and are available at select Starbucks locations. They are also sold in stores across the US. To find a store near you, please use the Peter Rabbit store locator.
