Yu-Be Review

Yu-Be is a Glycerin-based moisturizing cream developed by the Japanese pharmacist, Yoshikiyo Nowatari . Yu-Be is enriched with Vitamin E, Vitamin B2 and Camphor. and because of the high amount of Glycerin, Yu-Be is known for it’s incredible absorbency.  Yu-Be is safe and effective for men, women, children and even infants! Yu-be is is designed to be gentle yet combats even the most severe skin conditions such as severely dry skin, eczema and psoriasis.

I am always on the market for new beauty and skincare products. I was especially grateful to discover Yu-Be. You see, I suffer from a common skin condition know as Keratosis Pilaris. KP causes rough patches that look similar to acne or goose bumps. There are no major health risks associated with KP but it’s appearance causes can cause feelings of uneasiness not to mention it is itchy and uncomfortable. Moisturizing Cream

This multi-purpose moisturizing cream can be used to help provide relief for a number of skin conditions such as: painful split cuticles, tough calluses, hard cracked heels, burns and severely dry skin. In addition Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream also reduces symptoms associated with rashes, Eczema, inflammation, itching and Dermatitis. This may be applied directly to the skin and/or lips. There is a light camphor fragrance (which I love! ) but the fragrance does fade away quickly. Over the past several months, I have developed a rough skin patch on my elbow. I have tried several skin creams and moisturizers but nothing has helped. After using Yu-Be for just over one week, the dry skin patch has improved significantly. My rough elbows have become much softer and the rough patch is nearly gone!  The Moisturizing Skin Cream is non-greasy and noticeably locks in moisture. Prior to using this cream, I had flaky skin. As soon as I apply the moisturizer, the flakes are gone, and my elbows are instantly relieved! The moisturizing cream comes in a 1.25oz tube, which is the perfect size to toss in your handbag and carry with you.

Body Lotion

Yu-Be Moisturizing Body Lotion is made using the same #1 selling Japanese glycerin formula. Similar to the moisturizing cream, the body lotion has the same camphor scent, yet it has  a slightly lighter texture. The Moisturizing Body Lotion is designed to provide continuous hydration and protection for troublesome dry skin. The formula is gentle enough to use on your face and lips. I have been using this product religiously on my dry legs and arms. I was very impressed at how quickly this lotion was absorbed and at how soft and hydrated my skin feels.  Yu-Be Moisturizing Body Lotion comes in a 10.25oz bottle with a convenient pump. This is a great product to provide your skin with year round moisture and hydration.

Foaming Skin Polish

Foaming Skin Polish is made from fine grains of rice bran and combined with bamboo and gentle cleaning agents to create a luxurious foaming scrub. Like the other products from Yu-Be, this may also be used on the face. Ginger root and ginseng work together to tone and balance the skin, while green tea, geranium oil and camphor provide a soothing, cool, refreshing feeling.  The texture is gritty and feels great when massaging against your skin. I would best describe YuBe Skin Polish as a gentle exfoliator. I have been using my scrub all over my body and I am thrilled to say goodbye to my alligator skin. I highly recommend this product to anyone living with extremely dry skin.

Lip Therapy

Lip Therapy soothes, moisturizes and protects dry, painful, chapped lips. This all-natural lip balm has no artificial colors, fragrances, oils or petroleum. I suffer from dry chapped lips year round. Products I have used in the past seem to irritate my lips, making them more dry. Yu-Be Lip Therapy glides on smoothly and stays on for hours, even through drinking and eating. There is a light camphor scent which fades within just seconds. I love that this is non-sticky. There is nothing worst than applying a lip balm only to have your hair glued to your lips. My lips feel soft and kissable. I will definitely be buying more of this to keep on hand!

During the winter months, women tend to neglect their feet. Weekly trips to the spa and salon for pedicures isn’t a priority because your feet are staying warm and covered up. I know it is hard to believe but summer is here and it is time to pull out your trendy sandals and flip flops and put your best foot forward.

During my pregnancy, I gained a significant amount of weight. I also had a condition that restricted me to bed rest. For 4 months, I was unable to reach my feet and sadly, it shows. My feet were in shock from not having a pedicure every week and my heels became dry and cracked. My son is a toddler now and I have yet to restore my feet back to the beautiful condition they were in, prior to pregnancy.

I was skeptical when trying Curél Foot Cream. The bottle reads “ smoothes and softens dry,cracked skin in just two nights”.  I have tried other products and waited weeks for results. I applied my Deep-Penetrating foot cream before bed and I was shocked to find noticeably softer skin when I woke in the morning.  The fragrance is light and airy and the lotion is thick and creamy. It felt like satin massaging against my skin and I love how soft my heels and feet have become. There was no greasy feeling, just touchable soft skin!

Also from Curél’s Targeted Therapy Line is the Hand and Cuticle Cream. This cream provides immediate healing relief to dry hands. The main ingredients include soothing soy milk, softening monoï oil, and naturally healing vitamin E. Rough Cuticles are softened with just one use and hands stay soft and smooth – even through several hand washings! The Hand and Cuticle cream is also available in 3.5oz, however this bottle is taller and narrower then the foot cream. Still, it is just as great for home or travel and would fit in nearly every size purse. I love that this hand cream is fast-absorbing. I did notice a greasy feeling when I first applied the lotion, but once absorbed, my skin was left feeling incredibly soft.

Both products worked wonders on my extremely dry skin. I highly recommended both products from the Curél Targeted Therapy line.
