I know what you may be thinking- Texans wear cowboy boots with spurs, long-sleeved button down shirts, mom jeans and cowboy hats, so why would I want to dress like that? Although you will find true cowboys wearing such apparel, the majority of us dress just like anyone else.

I love just about everything at Wild Texas Wear and I could go on and on about their unique apparel, but let’s save that for another time. The first Item I received was the
Ladies Cupid Shorts. These shorts are made from 80% Polyester and 20% French Terry. These comfy women’s shorts are sold in red with white designs or white with pink designs and are available in sizes small – 2xl.
I received the White shorts, which I have been wearing since I received them. I love how soft and comfortable they are. On the right front side a Wild Texas Wear logo is printed and the left front features a dainty pink tribal design surrounding the shape of Texas. On each side of that is a matching pink heart. These shorts include a covered elastic waistband with a drawstring which allows for maximum comfort. The inseam is 3 inches including the double needle hemmed bottom. I rarely wear shorts, but I can’t seem to take these off. I have without a doubt found the most comfortable shorts and my favorite lounge wear!
Wild Texas Wear has a wide selection of women’s tank tops. I was so excited to receive the
Ladies Texas 1836 Tank. This tank top is available in six color options- red, violet, light blue, light pink, white and black. The sizes in this classic tank top also range from small to 2xl. Texas 1836 is printed across the front chest with the Wild Texas Wear tagline at the bottom left corner (Texas won its independence from Mexico on April 21, 1836). I love the bold design and the overall feminine look of this tank top. The material is made from preshrunk 100% cotton jersey and is very soft. I received the blue tank which actually looks more like a bright bluish- turquoise. This tank top would be great for layering or worn alone.
I also received the
Respect a Texas Lady Tee. This soft 100% cotton t-shirt features a retro cowgirl taking aim and sending the message “ Respect a Texas Cowgirl”. This tee is available in white, sand, and Texas Orange- you know the beautiful burnt orange color just like the best college football team, the Texas Longhorns! I received the white t-shirt and although the size is too small for me, this shirt is designed to fit like a baby tee, or very snug. I gave this shirt to my mother and she absolutely loves how soft it feels and and flattering it is.
Normally, I would say “ I saved the best for last” but in this case I love all of the Wild Texas Wear products I received! The last item I received is the
Rhinestone Bracelet. I must first tell you I am not a fan of anything that resembles cow skin. I have always thought it looked tacky, until I saw this unique bracelet. I loved it so much, I emailed a picture to my closet friends bragging about it. Take a look for yourself….
The Rhinestone Bracelet is made of genuine hair on hide and features a crystal filled cross in the center. There are 3 large pearlescent rhinestones on each side of the cross along with several tiny rhinestones and silver studs. This bracelet is lined with a silver beaded strand and is designed to fit most women by including a snap closure with three sizing options. This trendy bracelet is high quality and it certainly shows. I love how the light reflects off of the rhinestones. The Rhinestone Bracelet is comfortable, and I love receiving compliments every time I wear it! Texas has such a unique history which is part of the reason I am proud to be a Texan. As Wild Texas Wear would say “ there are only two types of people in this world: First, there are Texans. Second, there are people who wish they were Texans.” I am lucky enough to belong in the first category.
